This project is developed from  key findings of an online survey of women aged 40 years and above who work in the university sector. The study aimed to examine the occupational health and well-being of older women, a group that has been previously neglected in organisational research. The project also aimed to advance theoretical and practical knowledge about the relationships between work, women and menopause. Specifically, it looked at how women experience menopause in a contemporary Australian workplace, and asked how work and everyday working life affect, and are affected by, menopausal transition.
