Women at Work Project

The Women At Work Study explores key findings and
recommendations of a quantitative survey of over 839  women over the age of 40 employed in three Universities within Australia. The aim of the study was to examine the occupational health and
well-being of older women, a group whose working lives,
experiences and aspirations are poorly understood by employers, national governments and academic researchers alike. A particular focus of the study was women’s experience of menopause at work, and how menopause-related symptoms affect work outcomes.
